Sheridan leads AdvertisingML's strategy, product, and publisher partnerships. He is the founder of Sheridan Media, Inc. and has spent the prior decade building and operating consumer-facing media properties.
AdvertisingML was founded on a simple thesis: advertisers in regulated verticals — insurance, lending, education, home services — pay a high premium for clean, intent-matched inventory, and most existing networks fail to deliver it reliably.
We operate a network of owned editorial properties, each built around a single consumer decision in a single vertical. A consumer arrives at one of our properties through organic search, comparison content, or curated content distribution. They engage with editorial material about the decision they're researching. When ready, they submit information through a TrustedForm-certified lead form with full TCPA-compliant consent disclosures.
That lead is delivered in real time to advertisers we've matched to their stated need — by vertical, geography, demographic eligibility, and licensing posture. Advertisers receive vertical-pure inventory with documented consent metadata. Consumers receive offers from companies actually able to serve their specific situation.
Every property we operate is built to a baseline standard: real editorial content (not thin landers), TrustedForm certification on every form, FCC-compliant multi-seller consent disclosures, CCPA/CPRA-conformant privacy practices, and full suppression-list honoring across the network.
AdvertisingML launched in 2026 as the lead-generation publisher network operated by Sheridan Media, Inc., an Alabama-incorporated corporation. Our founding team has spent the prior decade operating across performance marketing, lead-gen compliance, and consumer-facing publisher infrastructure.

AdvertisingML works with licensed insurance carriers and agents, NMLS-registered lenders, accredited education institutions, and licensed home-services contractors. AdvertisingML's compliance posture is described in detail on our compliance page. Briefly: every consumer interaction with a lead form on our network generates a TrustedForm certificate (ActiveProspect). Consent language follows the post-IMC v. FCC multi-seller framework. State-level supplementary requirements (FL Mini-TCPA, OK Telephone Solicitation Act, WA TCPA) are honored in addition to federal TCPA + CAN-SPAM baselines. Revocation requests are honored within ten business days across all channels and partners.
